We have stepped out of the fog.

If the past few weeks felt like trying to grasp something real through layers of gauze, you weren’t imagining it. Conversations looping, meaning slipping, clarity always just slightly out of reach… yeah...that was the Piscean signature of soft edges, emotional saturation, a kind of beautiful, exhausting dissolution. And now it’s over with Mars & Mercury now in Aries. And Aries does not do soft edges very well.

The Sky Right Now

Something rare is happening overhead, and I want you to understand the full weight of it before we talk about what it means for you personally.

Today as the New Moon on April 17th moved into Aries, she joined Neptune, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn forming a powerful stellium — a concentrated cluster of planetary energy in a single sign. This kind of gathering is uncommon in any circumstance. But it is happening around the time of a Saturn-Neptune conjunction, which makes it rarer still. The Sun, Moon, and Chiron are all conjunct (close together) in Aries. The quality of time right now is FULL of tension. It carries something archaic, something wild, something that doesn’t quite have a modern-day framework to hold it comfortably. This is why we are feeling the realities of our daily headlines these days. The collective pot is boiling over.

Stelliums are inherently intense and are revolutionary, in the most literal sense. They close one order and open another. They plant seeds that grow for years. History has a pattern here: major stelliums have preceded significant geopolitical and social upheavals, from the outbreak of the World Wars to the Cuban Missile Crisis. The first stellium of this year peaked at the end of February — the very week the Iran conflict escalated. This one we are in now climaxes between April 15th and the 20th.

Have no fear curious and courageous warriors, because the personal and the collective are not separate. What is happening out there is also happening in you, but maybe this doesn’t look disruption or chaotic for you, personally. Though, the same mechanism that is compressing cause and effect at a systemic level can also be compressing it in your own life. Such as the upcoming energy crisis we are all about to experience. The space between impulse and outcome is shrinking. The stories we’ve been using to organise reality (out there and in here) are fracturing under the weight of what is actually true.

That is why this week feels the way it feels. And that is why this New Moon matters as much as it does.

Mercury in Aries: Stop Avoiding What’s Obvious

From April 14th through May 2nd, Mercury moves through Aries. Mercury in Aries doesn’t whisper. It doesn’t overthink. It doesn’t send a carefully worded follow-up email three days later after composing seventeen drafts. It speaks. Sometimes too quickly, sometimes too sharply, but always with the intention to move something forward.

Here is what that means in practice: the elephants in the room are not shrinking. If anything, they are getting louder. Over the coming weeks, certain truths may start demanding ALL your attention in LOUD & SHOUTY CAPS. Conversations you’ve been dodging. Realisations you’ve been softening. Questions you haven’t been ready to ask.

Now is the time to ask them.

This isn’t about weaponising honesty or burning things down for the sake of momentum. This transit asks something simple, but not always easy: stop avoiding what’s obvious. There is a difference between the clarity that liberates and the bluntness that damages, and Mercury in Aries asks you to learn that distinction on the fly, in real time, with real stakes.

Around April 20th, Mercury meets both Mars and Saturn in an exact conjunction. The pressure to act will be considerable. But hey, hear this clearly: this is not a moment for blind activism. Hasty action taken here can cause disproportionate damage. Slow the pace. Set priorities. Work as carefully as you can. Do what is necessary. Not everything you feel urgency about, but what is necessary.

And know there is power in naming what’s off without having all the answers. You don’t have to have it figured out to engage with what’s real. Even if your voice shakes a little when it comes out.

This New Moon conjunct Chiron it asking us to Face What Hurts

This is the heart of everything.

The New Moon on April 17th falls directly on Chiron (the wounded healer) and the message is not subtle. We are being asked to face what hurts. Not to perform healing, or narrate our growth for an audience, but to actually get to the root of the discomfort and do the hard work required to move through it.

Chiron in Aries carries a specific wound: the wound of self. Of identity. Of whether you are allowed to exist as you actually are — not the version of you that is acceptable, or useful, or legible to others, but the real one. The one you’ve been protecting, or defending, or quietly abandoning piece by piece in order to keep things smooth.

This New Moon is illuminating that wound with full solar clarity. And it is doing so inside a stellium that includes Mars (action, will, forward movement) and Saturn (reality, constraint, structure). Which means this is not an invitation to simply feel the wound and light a candle about it. This is an invitation to meet your obstacles (especially the internal ones) with compassion and courage and to make actual, concrete moves toward something better.

That requires brutality… the loving kind. The kind where you look at what’s been holding you back and name it clearly instead of dressing it up as complexity.

Whatever was present in your life around April 2024 — whatever pattern was running, whatever loop you were caught in — that chapter is closing now. Not almost closing. Closed. The New Moon is planting something new in that cleared ground. What grows from it depends on what you’re willing to be honest about today:

What Comes Next

The pressure begins to shift after the Sun enters Taurus on April 20th, though Mercury, Mars, and Saturn remain in exact conjunction in Aries for a little longer… which means don’t mistake the season change for an immediate exhale. The fire is still present. Ground into it rather than running from it.

The final week of April holds genuine potential for surprise and renewal. Venus meets Uranus on April 24th, right before entering Gemini bringing a breath of fresh air to partnerships, communication, and creative life. New doors open. The mood becomes livelier and more outgoing. This is genuinely favourable energy for anything involving language, ideas, or connection.

On April 26th, Uranus also enters Gemini, a longer-cycle shift that begins reorienting the collective conversation around technology, information, and the way we think. And on April 28th, Venus and Pluto form a trine, deepening the transformation energy into something more integrated, less volatile.

We are moving through intensity into something more fluid. But the honest reckoning of this New Moon… the thing you’ve been avoiding, the version of yourself you’re leaving behind.. all that happens now, in this week, in this fire!

Your New Moon Intentions

The New Moon is always the right moment to pause and do this deliberately. What do you want to call in this cycle? What do you want to clear out? Set an intention — two, or three — and make them specific enough to mean something.

For this Aries New Moon, I offer these as anchors:

I trust myself → I stop performing → I remove distractions → I act.

1. I choose to act in my own best interest — even when it’s uncomfortable.

2. I commit to a version of confidence that isn’t performative.

3. I clear the noise so I can hear myself think.

Write them down. Say them out loud. Let them be the thing you return to when the week gets loud. And it may get loud.

The stellium does not create pressure. It reveals where the pressure has already been building and removes the cushion that was keeping it at a manageable distance.

That is why this week feels like something is about to happen. Because it is. Because it already is happening.

You were already moving toward this. The sky is simply catching up to what you already know.

Some people don't threaten you. They reflect you… which can be worse.

Everyone loves the idea of an authentic person. We celebrate their fiercely independent, uncompromising realness. The ones who refuse to perform a version of themselves for anyone’s comfort. We admire them from a distance, the way you admire a wildfire: beautiful, alive, and best appreciated from somewhere safe. But move close enough to feel the heat, and something shifts. The admiration curdles. Often, the warmth becomes too much.

Often I have found that many people cannot sustain proximity to a genuinely independent person. Not because the person has done something wrong, but because being near them demands something that most of us aren’t ready to give: honest self-reflection.

Astrology has a dedicated house for the place in a birth chart where this dynamic lives. The 12th house. Sometimes called the house of hidden enemies, sometimes the house of self-undoing, it is most accurately understood as the house of everything we have buried: the unconscious, the unseen, the aspects of self too raw or too vast to carry into ordinary daylight. It sits just before the Ascendant, the threshold of how we present ourselves to the world, which means it holds whatever we are still becoming. Whatever we have not yet integrated. Whatever surfaces, uncomfortably, in the presence of those who will not let us pretend.

In psychological astrology, the 12th house is linked to Carl Jung's concept of the collective unconscious: the vast, shared substrate of human experience that lies beneath individual awareness. Those with personal planets here (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) often find themselves processing not only their own subconscious material, but energies and patterns that belong to the collective, to their family lineage, or to the people they are closest to. They absorb what others cannot name.

We are reflections of those we are closest to, absorbing not just the light they radiate, but their shadows too. We are drawn, naturally, toward people who mirror us. Those who share our worldview, our coping mechanisms, our comfortable blind spots. This is not cynicism; it is simply how human bonds form. We seek resonance, comfort, ease. But there is a darker side to this impulse: the people who do not threaten our sense of self, who never hold up a mirror at an uncomfortable angle, can quietly keep us circling in the same patterns.

Stagnation can look a lot like peace when no one is challenging the story you tell about yourself.

Independent thinkers, particularly those who have moved through trauma and come out the other side without losing their depth, often find themselves cast as the black sheep. Not because they are broken, but because they are, in some essential way, unassimilated. They do not fall into line. They do not soften their edges to make the room more comfortable. And in a world that rewards belonging above almost everything else, this is quietly punished.

In astrological terms, those with personal planets in the 12th house carry what might be called a subconscious inheritance. The Sun here struggles, for much of life, with a clear sense of identity. Often feeling invisible, or most fully themselves only in service, solitude, or spiritual depth. The Moon in the 12th absorbs the emotional weather of every room it enters, so porous to others' feelings that it can lose the thread of its own. Mercury in the 12th thinks in depths that are difficult to translate to words as communication truly happens in a pre-verbal context. Ideas arrive through intuition and dream rather than linear logic, and there is often a haunting sense that the most essential things one wants to say cannot quite be reached by ordinary language. These people communicate what others feel but cannot articulate, which makes them profound and, at times, profoundly misunderstood. Venus here reaches for love through sacrifice; Mars here channels its drive underground, emerging as uncanny instinct or, at its worst, as repressed anger that even the individual cannot locate in themselves.

Planets in the 12th house pick up energies from the collective unconscious that are often felt as one's own, but don't always originate there. In relationship, this means a 12th house person may unconsciously carry, express, or reflect the unexamined material of the people around them: the partner's unexpressed grief, the family's unspoken fear, the friend group's buried insecurity. They become, without asking for the role, a walking mirror for what others have worked hard not to see.

The labeled black sheep does not ask to be a mirror. It simply is one.

Something in their presence, their hard-won self-knowledge, their refusal to pretend, surfaces what others have worked hard to bury. Insecurities rise. Old wounds itch. Rather than sitting with that discomfort, the group turns away. The authentic person is ostracised not for what they have done, but for what they reveal by simply being themselves.

This is the particular cruelty facing those with heavy 12th house energy: they are, by their nature, tuned to depths that most people only touch in crisis. They have lived inside the questions others avoid. And this attunement, this unwillingness to look away from what is true, makes them both magnetic and destabilising to those who are not yet ready to do the same work. The attraction is real. But the attraction to light, and the willingness to be changed by it, are very different things.

This is where the dynamic becomes genuinely painful. The independent thinker, who has often spent a lifetime learning to be okay with their own company, finds themselves continually drawn toward and then pushed away by people who initially saw something luminous in them. Someone catches the light “Oh wow, they’re sooooo real, sooooo interesting, I want to know them” and the attraction is sincere. But the 12th house soul, in Jungian terms, is a portal to the collective unconscious. A place most people encounter only in dreams, if at all. Standing close to that portal is not always comfortable.

The ego dissolution that the 12th house represents does not stay neatly contained in one person’s chart. It radiates. People with strong placements here carry what the ancient astrologers called the hidden: not secrets in the petty sense, but the deep, pre-verbal, unresolved human material that all of us inherit and most of us avoid. When they are in the room, something in that material gets activated. Not because they intend it, but because they have refused, and often at great personal cost, to keep it buried.

Independent thinkers tend to thrive in relationships with others who are similarly wired: parallel partnerships where both people have done enough inner work to hold their own while genuinely encountering someone else. These pairings can be extraordinary. But pair a 12th house Sun with someone still entirely defined by the group consensus, and the friction is almost inevitable. Not because either is wrong, but because the depth of one reveals the shallowness the other has not yet fully examined. In synastry, the astrology of relationship, the 12th house overlay between two people is described as activating the unconscious of both: surfacing suppressed feelings, old wounds, and emotional patterns that have no obvious cause. It can feel like fate. It can also feel like drowning, if only one person is willing to swim.

The 12th house does not ask permission to show you what you have been avoiding. It simply opens the door.

This is not a condemnation of those who turn away. Most of us move in and out of readiness depending on the season of our lives. The question is not which type you are but whether, when someone’s authenticity holds up that uncomfortable mirror, are you willing to look and acknowledge what you see? And is this enough to resist the reflex of calling it their fault for being too much?

Finding common ground between these two ways of moving through the world begins there: not in the 12th house person learning to dim themselves for the comfort of the room, but in each of us developing the capacity to be a little more honest about our own resistance. The work of real connection is not finding someone who doesn’t challenge you. It is building enough self-awareness to stay in the room when they do.

And for those who carry the weight of the 12th house — who have spent years puzzling over why their presence provokes, why they are loved from a distance, why the very quality others admire in them is also what eventually distances those same people — there is, if not comfort, at least a kind of clarity in this: you are not too much. You are simply operating at a frequency that requires something of others. Whether they rise to meet it is not yours to control. The mirror is not responsible for what it reflects.

When I first looked into my natal chart with a couple of trustworthy psychological professional astrologers, I immediately asked “Where does my chart explain mental health aliments such as chronic depression, psychosis, addiction, self-harm and self-loathing?” Pointing to my 12th house Sun and Mercury in Cancer ♋️ was explained in one conversation what twenty years of clinical therapy was still circling.

March 28: Saturn Sextile Pluto

This weekend’s skies are not quiet ones. If you’ve been feeling a low-grade tension you can’t quite name, a sense that things are hardening, or that events are moving faster than they should, the planets can help explain. Let’s walk through it together.

First Things First: What Is a Sextile?

If you’re an astro newbie, you might be wondering what a sextile is.

In astrology, a sextile occurs when two planets sit roughly 60 degrees apart in the sky. Think of it like two people at a party who aren’t in the same conversation, but can still hear each other and thus work to influence each other. It’s a supportive, cooperative angle. Not as intense as a conjunction (same place, same energy), or as confrontational as an opposition (facing each other head-on). A sextile is more like two forces working in parallel, quietly reinforcing each other in the background.

Now that we’ve got that in the memory bank, let’s get into it.

The Sun is currently moving through Aries, the sign of bold action, fresh starts, and the primal urge to get shit done. Aries doesn’t wait or deliberate. It leads with its chin. The Sun here is strong, direct, and clear.

Saturn, on the other hand, is not in its happy place in Aries. Saturn loves structure, patience, and long-game strategy. Aries wants to move now, creating real tension between impulse and consequence.

Consider the geopolitical stage right now. We are a month into a war that was initially projected to last a couple of weeks. This is a weekend where decisions that feel impulsive will quickly harden into consequences that stick. Mistakes made in haste will carry real weight, and fast.

The Sextile That Locks It In: Pluto in Aquarius

Here’s where our new vocabulary comes in handy.

While the Sun and Saturn are doing their tense dance in Aries, the Sun is also forming a sextile with Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto is the planet of deep, irreversible transformation that doesn’t deal in surface-level change. It breaks down power structures, exposes hidden systems, and accelerates long-term shifts that are already underway.

Pluto in Aquarius asks big questions:

• How do we organise society?

• Who holds power?

• What does the future of collective life actually look like?

The sextile between the Sun and Pluto this weekend means that whatever is set in motion (personally, politically, globally) doesn’t stay localised. It propagates. Choices made now don’t dissipate. They echo. We already see this build up over this last month with the rising price of oil triggering global inflation. I reckon we now should prep for an energy crisis that brings organised blackouts and/or lockdowns. Not mandated ones, but rather because no one will be afford to travel and rely on luxuries of the old world. Nevertheless, it’s a great time to learn about the impact of fossil fuels on our planet 😕

The bigger picture of timelines on repeat

History doesn’t just rhyme. It runs on cycles. The same planetary configurations that appeared at pivotal moments in the past return as opportunities for course correction. When these transits reoccur, they activate familiar themes… even if the costumes look different.

Right now, we are watching one of those moments unfold in real time. The ongoing war between the USA/Israel and Iran… the strikes, the counter-moves, the so-called negotiations happening while bombs are falling… this carries a very specific astrological signature.

With Saturn in its fall (a placement where it struggles to operate effectively) in a war-ready Aries sky, authority is present, but its application keeps missing the mark. Each move justifies the next. Each response creates conditions that demand another response. This is force without strategy and escalation without an exit plan. We can expect this war to last throughout this year. Even if it ends tomorrow, countries are already dipping into reserves which take years to restore. Inflation isn’t something anyone can escape, and the long-term impact of what has already been executed will take years to rebuild for the countries with the most impact.

This is what happens when Aries energy goes unchecked. Action becomes self-reinforcing, momentum replaces strategy, and the system continues forward. Not because there’s a clear goal, but because stopping feels impossible. The Pluto sextile ensures this war doesn’t remain regional. What we’re witnessing is a pressure point within a much larger global reshuffling of power, and a race to secure the world’s next global superpower(s).

July 4, 2026: America's 250th Birthday & A Date With Its Own Birth Wound

Let's talk about July 4, 2026 as this is the 250th birthday of the United States. There will be speeches, fireworks, backyard BBQs, and we can expect a whitewashed over-sensationalised showdown on the White House lawn. But on July 3rd, the day before all of that, Mars and Uranus will come together at 3 degrees of Gemini.

For those keeping score: Mars is aggression and force. Uranus is rupture, shock, and the thing nobody saw coming. Together they're a lit match in a room that's been filling with gas for years. In Gemini, the sign of information, communication, competing narratives, and duality, the explosion tends to happen as much at the level of ideas as physical events.

But here's where history gets genuinely interesting.

On June 23rd, 1776, this same Mars-Uranus conjunction in Gemini was active when the British launched a massive naval assault on Charleston. Days later, the largest naval armada ever assembled in North American waters materialised in New York Harbor. George Washington's army was staring down what looked like total annihilation. The threat was existential and immediate.

What we tend to picture as a celebratory birth moment was actually a terrifying confrontation. A violent, irreversible break from empire that permanently reorganised the relationship between colonial powers and colonised peoples everywhere.

But notice what got left behind. The people who were already here brought here in chains. The contradiction built into the words "all men are created equal" and the brutal reality of who that phrase actually applied to was written into the founding document, left deliberately unresolved.

The Sibley chart (the birth chart of the United States, set for July 4, 1776) already contains its own Mars-Uranus conjunction. The July 3, 2026 transit lands on top of that natal signature with striking precision.

The country is being asked to meet its own birth wound again.

So what do we do with all of this?

Astrology isn't fortune-telling. It's pattern recognition. These transits don't cause events. They describe the energetic weather that makes certain kinds of events more likely, and certain kinds of choices more costly.

The Sun-Saturn conjunction this weekend asks for sobriety and a willingness to see consequences clearly, without filtering them through identity, allegiance, or the comforting story you most want to be true. Saturn doesn't answer symbolically. It answers materially.

And yes, empires fall. We are watching this in real time across the globe in various countries. But here's the thing about rock bottom: it has a way of clarifying what actually matters. When the noise collapses, the signal gets louder. When structures that no longer serve us finally give way, there's space for something more honest to emerge.

We can hold both things at once: the weight of what's breaking down, and the possibility of what's being built. The Uni is patient. It's been doing this a long time and understands the bigger picture view better than humans.

I try hard not to spread too much gloom and doom, but I am a stoic realist. Graciously I hold a deep belief in knowing there is a higher Source working in our best interest together with us, and for the greater good of our species. And prayer, I have a strong faith in the power of prayer 🤲

A phrase that comes to mind often for me, when dealing with these heavy subjects is: I’m a doomer, but not a nihilist.

I believe it’s possible to give up hope that humanity can turn our situation around, and still live a life of meaning and purpose. We can act to ease suffering. If this enormous death we are approaching is actually a metamorphosis, then we can embrace our work as the death doulas, trusting that future generations will find the wisdom and resources to guide the rebirth in time. Our species has been through bottlenecks before. Earth’s climate has gone through destabilized, chaotic periods, and then stabilized again. Our short individual lives make it difficult to stretch our consciousness to this scale. But deepening into the acceptance of collapse helps us expand beyond ourselves, and beyond the limitations of meaning-making put in place by capitalism.

Whatever path is revealing itself to you, whatever dharma is yours in this new era, I hope it shears you of anything that has kept you small until now. I hope you can step into the fire with courage and faith. I hope you rock it.

There are rare moments in astrology when the sky seems to hold its breath.

This coming week carries that feeling. For a brief stretch of days the heavens move without the usual tension. There are no oppositions and no squares pressing events into motion through conflict. Instead, the zodiac compresses its energy into two signs that mark the end and the beginning of the astrological year moving from Pisces to Aries.

However with that written, there are 22 countries involved in WW3 and a geomagnetic storm is approaching due to hit this weekend. Given current world affairs, I'd say it’s anyone's ballgame to call how these coming days will play out.

Just Breathe 🌬

As of March 10, Jupiter has stationed direct in Cancer, slowly beginning to move forward again after months of retrograde motion. Jupiter governs expansion, confidence, and the deeper wisdom we return to when life feels uncertain. In Cancer, that wisdom lives in the heart.

Collectively, we are being asked to examine our relationship with care — how we nurture others, how we protect ourselves, and whether we truly allow love to move in both directions.

With Jupiter now moving forward, a subtle heaviness can lift. Projects, relationships, or emotional processes that felt stalled since mid-November can begin to find their momentum again. As we approach the Pisces New Moon on March 18–19, an extraordinary concentration gathers as five celestial bodies in Pisces and five in Aries come together. Nearly the entire sky crowds intuo the final waters and the first fire. Only a few distant forces stand apart: Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Taurus, and Jupiter newly direct in Cancer. Like slow-moving witnesses observing the pressure building at the threshold between endings and beginnings.

Pisces dissolves. Aries ignites.

Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces during this moment, making communication and messaging extremely murky while clouding perception. Emotion moves faster than reason. Rumor spreads faster than clarity. We are running mostly on assumption based news since like, idk when ai took over?! Wtf is real anymore? 🤷🏼‍♀️ There is very little energy cultivating right now that appeals to calm, grounded rationality. The collective mind feels saturated, yielding extreme sensitivies and emotional reactivity. I am super proud of myself for getting out this article as I have felt delulu since January 🤪

And expectation is everywhere.

In my daily conversations, in my yoga lessons, in messages from loved ones, and in the dismal tone of the newscycle, there is an unmistakable sense that something bigger — messier — more brutal, is approaching. We feel it even if we cannot name it.

Spring is springin’ 🌷

When the Sun crosses into Aries on March 20, the Spring Equinox arrives and balance tips to make room for fire to dominate the sky. For several days we will see six bodies moving through Aries while the last currents of Pisces continue dissolving what came before.

Astrologically, this is unusual terrain. The zodiac rarely compresses its energy so intensely into just two signs and the symbolism is stark. The end of a cycle and the ignition of another happening almost simultaneously as the atmosphere resembles those strange days before major turning points in history … when daily life still continues, shops are open, bills still need to be paid, people go to work … but underneath the ordinary rhythms something larger is already in play.

By the time the Moon reaches Taurus roughly ten days later early April, we begin the final lap of this passage. The Moon will continue its circuit through the zodiac until it returns to Aries for the next Full Moon cycle. And by mid-April (around April 16–17) the sky will blaze with an extraordinary concentration of Aries energy: the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and Chiron all gathering in the transformative fire sign. Seven celestial bodies in a loaded Aries stellium. That is a tremendous ignition point.

A cryptic Friday the 13th

Aries does not whisper. Aries strikes the match. Once the spark is lit, it rarely asks permission before spreading. Many people sense this instinctively. The atmosphere feels uncannily similar to that quiet, uneasy week in early March 2020 when the pandemic first arrived in Western Europe. The world had not yet changed, but something in the air suggested it soon would. I posted this on IG.

This time the catalyst may look different and the tremors may arrive through market crashes, desperate political power grabs, and technological disruptions. Life will continue, but the ground beneath it may begin to rearrange itself.

My dreams are filled with various doomsday scenarios and that is AFTER having cut most media and film out. My DMs are filled with inquires asking “what do the cards say!?” which is a great sign for my business, but also a sign people have given up on trusting institutions and people in power.

Moments like this do not simply pass. They seed permanence. Just as the world could not return to what it was before 2020, we may find ourselves unable to return even to where we stood a year ago. Something is being initiated. A threshold has already been crossed.

Pisces dissolves the old world.

Aries lights the fire that builds the next one.

For now, the most useful posture is not certainty, but awareness. When the sky gathers this much fire and water at once, events tend to unfold quickly and emotions can surge just as fast. The invitation is to stay fluid where Pisces asks us to release control, and where courageous Aries asks us to act. Flexibility will matter more than prediction. Adaptability will matter more than resistance. Something new is trying to begin, even if the first sparks arrive through disruption. On this snowy evening, still sweet with ‘Gal’entine’s Day love, I’m celebrating solo — unless you count the furbaby currently monopolising my couch. My girls are off celebrating Mardi Gras with their Dutch relatives in the south, which means this weekend is just for me, myself, and I.

I have had a lot on my mind this past week. The newstream has been pure madness and I feel strongly it is by design. I have plugged out and have done very little to absorb the current content, aside from catching highlights on Tiktok ngl. I was rather busy absorbing the news these last two months, and nothing of what I have learned recently has shocked me. These themes too, are by design.

BUT! The era of power-hoarding hierarchies and shadow systems is ending.

With Pluto in Aquarius and Saturn in Aries stepping into position, we are entering a compressed chapter of history. One where technology accelerates, science breaks ground, systems crack, and humanity is forced to decide what we’re actually willing to fight for.

This is a re-evolution.

Yes, it’s chaotic. Yes, we’re collectively exhausted. But this is also the moment our ancestors dreamed of. When consciousness expands, illusions fall, and we remember that tuning out of the noise is the first step to tuning into truth.

The reset isn’t coming. It’s already here.

I’m sharing this audio while simultaneously attempting to upgrade tech features I’m very much struggling to learn 😐 And, I’m brushing up on voiceover skills from a couple of decades ago, back when I worked briefly in the “entertainment” industry. I recently found a brilliant creator coach on TikTok who generously shares free voiceover and acting tips. As these skills now become important to my youngest daughter, I find myself revisiting the craft. Refreshing muscles that weren’t quite strong enough back then to secure my own 15 minutes of fame 😅 #winning

Save this audio for later if you’d like… when you have the headspace to absorb Saturn’s lesson in my humble interpretation. This transit is due on Feb 20th, but the impact is already unfolding. So, you have some time to observe the wonders of this transit.

For me personally, with Saturn sitting on my Leo Ascendant, linked in a grand trine with my Aries Moon and Sagittarius Neptune, the fire I feel inside of me transforming into drive is undeniable. But if I’m honest it’s also fuelled by anger. How can anyone not feel entirely pissed off and threatened by these global unveilings?! It’s all such maddening collective psychic attack of evilness and insanity! I’ve worked hard to channel my energy into higher frequencies, though this week, it feels strangely comforting to sit in the ashes. Conserving energy for the rise I know is coming.

Hello Dear Readers, are you feeling the heat under this fiery Snow Moon? I’ve spent the weekend with my girls, cleaning the house, decorating and creating. We all have head colds and appreciated moments to bedrot 🥱

I have been having wild dreams lately of impacts from solar flares. Like… massive grid failures, system failures and minor tech glitches. My sleep is often interrupted the week prior to the full moon, and this week Luna has been sending me potent messages. Or maybe I recently read about the Carrington Event and my psyche took me back in time?

Before listening to the audio version included herewith, I want to anchor us here celebration of Imbolc. The quiet fire festival that reminds us the light is coming back!

Imbolc marks the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. The days are visibly brighter now. Not dramatically. Not triumphantly. Just enough to notice… which is exactly the point.

This moment belongs to Brigid, Celtic goddess of fire, poetry, healing, protection, animals, and the forge. Her name means “to rise.” Not to sprint, or to optimise. But to rise slowly, intentionally, and with warmth. Which honestly feels like the correct medicine right now.

The Flame That Knows My Name

This Leo Full Moon asks for presence, courage, and authenticity — but Brigid reminds us that courage doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes it looks like tending a small flame while the world burns itself out on spectacle.

Imbolc is traditionally honoured by weaving Brigid crosses and hanging them in the home for protection. But if you are tired (and many of us are), devotion does not require craft store energy.

Imbolc is an invitation to prepare the hearth, not rebuild the house. Clean out a closet. One shelf. One chaotic corner. Declutter something small enough that you don’t resent it. This is spellwork disguised as housekeeping. Cleaning the house is a ritualistic practice! And, One can make great money on such things!

If you have the energy, plant seeds — literally or symbolically. Buy a new plant. Start a creative project that doesn’t need to go anywhere. Knit badly. Write badly. Make something that exists only because you needed to touch your own creativity again. Hell, my entire Substack exists on this premise. I highlight Brigid’s importance to me here in an earlier article I wrote, which is horrific to re-read 😨 but proves how far I have come on my own writing journey 🤝

Minimal effort goes a long way here. Brigid honours intention, not output.

As the Leo Full Moon peaks and we begin a new week, emotions and egos will flare, and the hunger to be validated will get loud. This lunation exposes where validation replaced truth — and where authenticity is quietly asking to come back.

Ya'll, I ain't playin’ around no more!

My natal Aries Moon has been filled with a hot house of emotions today as I wrestle with one of my teenagers, the ex hubs, procrastinating on the simple stuff, and then beating myself up for all of those items. And hot damn, the overall energy from this week has been INTENSE!

First off, to address what breaking headline hit my evening scroll before ending my Saturday on this month’s Aries Moon, just as I was editing this article:

The current USofA regime’s responses to these horrific incidents occurring in Minnesota have me convinced this admin is carrying out ‘population control’ by whatever means necessary. This regime doesn’t care about American citizens unless they are wealthy enough to feed into their agenda. I have said it before, protests are impactful but never enough.

RESIST. REVOLT. REVOLUTIONIZE.

Here and now, as I write this, we’re deeply entrenched in Aquarius energy: Venus, Mars, Mercury, the Sun and Pluto, are all conjunct in Aquarius (see below chart). That’s not subtle. There is also significant geological activity unfolding across the planet right now, and the global political situation is frankly, ludicrous. It is all very overwhelming and not too much respite is expected to follow for a few more months.

But I will say this: much of the delusional arrogance and ego-fuelled posturing impacting the collective is continuing to dissolve as these outer planets move into no-nonsense Aries, which simply does not have the patience for that kind of bullshit.

Now, with Mars in Aquarius combined with the current Moon in Aries under the event of another ICE execution today, describes a collective atmosphere charged with urgency, conviction, and a desire to act on principle, or lack thereof. Emotions run hot and fast, and there is little patience for perceived injustice, stagnation, or systemic failure. At its higher expression, this energy mobilises courage in service of community. People feel compelled to speak up, organise, innovate, and initiate change quickly but with an eye toward collective impact rather than personal dominance. The high road of this was the perfectly timed economic black out on Friday, when Mars officially entered Aquarius ♒️

At its lower expression, the same urgency can tip into impulsivity, ideological rigidity, and emotionally driven reactions that bypass empathy, especially when group identity or abstract ideals override concern for individual lives. The transit does not signify violence in itself, but it amplifies the tension between immediate emotional discharge and thoughtful, values-based action, making regulation, accountability, and intention the deciding factors in how this energy manifests.

These events are part of the ongoing US Civil War 2.0, which energetically has been raging since a black man showed up for his job in a white suit. I know that sentence hurts to read, my fellow Americans. For a country with grounded values stemmed from racism and white supremacy, the chain of events is not surprising. I know that one hurt to read as well.

We have fallen to complacency and must realize this as a collective in order to grow past and learn from this moment of history. A series of segregated incidents over the last decade+ has led us to the acceptance of a self-proclaimed dictator’s private police squad setting new rules. We all knew this was coming with the build up of Proud Boys and cop cities over these last years, and this group need to be stopped! 🔥🧊🔥 But when we take matters into our own hands, we are now being physically harmed or killed — for practicing our 1st Amendment rights and looking out for our neighbors.

The sheer madness of it all!

Wait, it gets WORSE! But, it will get better…

Over the next 24 hours, Neptune will be in Pisces for the very last time in any of our lifetimes. Saturn and Neptune are both preparing to leave Pisces, and this generational shift is what’s shaking our species at its core. The recent New Moon feels like it finally locked the docking coordinates of this moment into place. Because of that, it’s safe to say the coming months— and through April —are going to be loaded with fiery events.

And yet, I retain hope.

After we pass the major lineup in July, things look like they finally begin to sort themselves out for the rest of the year, aside from another eclipse season in autumn, and some unresolved business from late October into November.

Currently, with Mars conjunct Pluto, we can anticipate a signature for events that shock the world, and we can expect that energy to unfold over the next few days. Mars, especially when activated like this, can be aggressive and incisive, but it’s also brave, heroic, dynamic, and fiercely assertive. STAY ALERT and remain aware of the people, places and things that surround you.

The speech Mark Carney gave a few days ago will likely go down in history for its commitment to the middle path. There was something intentional in his tone and choice for words about how nations spend their energy globally, choosing connection and cooperation over isolation. That speech was an excellent representation of what future we could be globally focusing on for the higher good of collective humanity, and I know very little of this particular world leader’s policies. It was still a great speech but I fear will be largely overshadowed by whatever rhetoric is spilling out from elsewhere.

The next few days may bring a rapid acceleration of events, both personally and collectively, and it would be easy for people to slip into frenzy or panic. This is where astrology matters. Studying and understanding astrology gives us an edge—it trains discernment and sharpens critical vision. It helps us interpret what may come by understanding what has already passed. Astrology offers a way of seeing the world experiencing itself, and it gives us a powerful sense of timing: how long things are likely to last, and when the pressure points ease.

Look, there is no returning to “normal.” Normal is history. An upgrade is required and not everyone will survive this level-up, especially where power struggles and arrogance are concerned. Something deep is about to surface, something that will fundamentally change the narrative. Check your chart. If you have placements around 1–5 degrees of Aquarius or Leo, you will feel the burn in the coming week headed up, and through, the Full Moon coming February 1.

Now is the time to deliberately choose free will—to consciously raise collective frequency in service of a higher good. What can be assimilated, integrated, and carried forward? What is ready to be shared, refined, and strengthened through collective feedback?

These are history making and breaking times. Also, a note to keep an eye on Mother Nature. Watch the tectonic movements, volcanoes, earthquakes, and the overall intensification of extreme weather. But do not buy into hype, spin, or misinformation. Wherever there is excessive noise, don’t give it oxygen—because behind that all that noise, something else is desperately being covered up.

As Neptune leaves Pisces settling into Aries on Monday, January 26, 2026, the veil isn’t simply lifting. It’s being pulled back like a grand red velvet curtain rising on a stage we can no longer pretend we’re not standing on.

The last sweep of shedding the Year of the Snake 🐍

Tell me why 2025 has felt like we’ve been living inside a cosmic pressure cooker…

The kind that hisses, steams, rattles, and then pretends nothing happened while all of us are left staring into the void wondering if we are actually alive, or just in a collective simulation psychosis?

If you’ve felt shaken, stirred, wrung out, or cosmically exfoliated — you are apparently in the correct place. This 9-year energy has been nothing short of transforming. The recent Super Full Moon in Gemini acted like a cosmic broom with an attitude, sweeping away the last clumps of karmic debris we’ve been dragging across lifetimes. The energetic clutter is no longer sustainable. The universe is turning out our pockets. And our bodies know.

If your system has been louder, heavier, or more dramatic than usual, you’re not imagining it. The trauma of 2025 hasn’t been just psychological—it's somatic. It’s lived in the tissues, the fascia, the breath, the nervous system that's been trying to hold the world together with the cosmic equivalent of duct tape.

Maybe, like me, you’re just emotionally exhausted. Not “I need a nap” tired—more like “my soul needs a sabbatical” tired.

These sensations aren’t failures. They’re internal alarms, pointing toward a pivot already underway. I don’t believe the universe makes mistakes; I believe it nudges, whispers, redirects—and occasionally yanks the steering wheel entirely.

Right now, the message is crystalline 🗣️ Arrive at January with a clean slate.

We are in the corridor between eras. From now until the next eclipse cycle in February to March of 2026, we’re closing chapters, dissolving outdated identities, and preparing our fields for a new season of consciousness.

Some people still fantasise about the “old world” returning—a pre-chaos nostalgia that never really existed. But we’re not going back. That timeline dissolved with the old structures. We’re co-creating a new normal now—one rooted not in efficiency or survival, but in awareness, interconnection, and soul-level truth.

The final clearing of Neptune at 29° Pisces

On December 10th, Neptune stationed direct at 29° Pisces—the very final degree of the entire zodiac before the cycle begins anew in Aries. This is the omega point.

This isn’t just another transit, rather it is a turning of the tide that asks each one of us to stop, breathe, and feel the subtle shift in the air as (dis)illusion begins to loosen its grip.

As Neptune moves forward again, the fog thins. Confusion lifts. Truths rise to the surface—not sharply, not aggressively, but like the tide pulling away from the shore, revealing the quiet patterns we were too overwhelmed to notice before.

At 29°, this energy feels urgent, dreamy, and immensely tender. We’re at the last inhale of a twelve-year oceanic cycle. We’re at the threshold of ending, surrender, and insight. Before Neptune enters Aries and sparks up the next era with fire, action, and collective initiation, it asks one thing of us ...

Let go and absolve.

Not the performative “I release what no longer serves me” we write in journals. The real letting go where we can feel and see the physical weight coming off our body. A bone-deep surrender. The unclenching of narratives we’ve over-identified with.

The dissolving of illusions that are personal, political, spiritual take time. Everyone on the planet has gone through, or is going through some sort of awakening this year. I guess that is what a 9 year of the snake has to offer. I have taken some notes on learnings. Perhaps you too?

Neptune governs fog, longing, illusion, and intuition. When it stations direct, the veil thins. Truth becomes harder to hide. Power structures know this. Narratives soften, symbols get manipulated, and we’re asked—quietly, but firmly—to discern what’s real from what’s palatable. But this moment isn’t about fear.

It’s about clarity. And clarity is freedom.

Soul-stice Level Bravery

• What choices would you make with a lighter heart?

• What version of you might emerge if freedom was suddenly an option?

These aren’t abstract spiritual questions. They’re your homework for 2026. The curriculum and the initiation. The universe is asking you to meet your fear, your grief, your doubt—not as walls, but as thresholds. Launchpads. Gateways to your next evolution.

The next chapter doesn’t begin with resolution. It begins with release. With the courage to unclench your grip on the old self. You get to decide who you dare to become.

I said this to myself in 2004 when I was struggling living under a failed American Dream in Colorado. Within a year, I had moved to Europe and reinvented a new life for myself. All because of the drive and passion behind… having a dream 💭

Everything is possible with faith, determination, and a plan. It doesn't even have to be a good plan. Rest in the magick of what cannot be predicted or measured as success.

Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, Taurus — you’re up. Cancers, you too might be feeling surprisingly held or harmoniously stretched as Jupiter swims through your sign.

This whole celestial lineup is dripping with revelation, release, and major emotional healing. Internal spring cleaning, but with the intensity of a power washer.

I hope this moment finds you well.

The above picture is taken of this month's budding full moon over a cemetery in my hometown of Joplin, Missouri. Because of platforms like Facebook, I enjoy getting ‘boots on the ground’ reports from friends and family still living in the area.

About a decade ago, I stopped following most mainstream media and news outlets, relying only on social media to receive updates. I was more interested in what was found within the comments, and what people were saying around those topics. That, after all, is what shapes a democracy.

I remain grateful for the folks I am still connected with across Meta, but my days on zuck owned platforms are numbered. FB and IG are easy enough to exit, but whatsapp is a lifeline for most Europeans.

As we move into the holiday season and keep in the spirit of progressive moves forward 👏 we need to remain focused on conservation. Whether that be in land, home, money, or relationships.

Speaking of money … now is the time NOT to be spending money. Remember, the war is between the billionaires and the rest of us, the best form of attack for this battle is to stop providing them with profits.

I suggest regifting, handmade gifts, secondhand shopping, and supporting your local community's vendors and small businesses in these coming weeks and during this particular holiday season.

Also, because it is a Taurus Full Moon, I suggest to gather for community meals, donate your unused goods, host in-home potluck meals, and contribute to any local food share programs. I use Olio and Too Good to Go here in The Netherlands.

Lastly, I recommend stocking up on your staples, paper linens, cleaning supplies, batteries, candles, emergency radios, iodine tablets for Western EU inhabitants, and having enough water stored for a minimum of three days. At least these are the things the Dutch government has been telling us for the last year.
