Living your yoga: Tadasana is a start
A place to begin is to simple stand a steady as a mountain.
Hello Good Humans,
Here we are in front of the old church “Oude Kerk” in Delft.
Not to be confused with the new church across town, which is also very old.
The steeple actually leans towards one side because of the weight on the sandy foundation the church is built on.
I am often here as it’s around the corner from a yoga studio I frequent. The active church bells are my favorite, but I always remain in awe of the sturdy bricks that seems to survive time passing.
On Fridays, I will be offering private Astrology consultations and teaching restorative yoga at Womenhood Studio in Delft.
The studio is open for Open Office Hours between 1030-1730 each Friday where I can be found holding down the fort.
Today I leave you with an incredibly short recorded guided meditation used for grounding ourselves. Applied during any time of any day, in any setting you’re in where you can take a moment to yourself.
Have a listen while standing up. Start from there.
Tadasana, or mountain pose is a perfect pose to practice mindfulness in.
It requires little physical stamina. Just a manner in properly standing to attention.
Turning inwards to center your focus within your senses is the key to achieving success.
Sometimes practicing moments of accepting the present moment is all we need to center ourselves.
Namaste ✨
