🇺🇸 GOOD MORNING AMERICA!! 📣📣📣
….(and to others outside of the “most powerful country” currently losing this label)
The podcast shared herewith is from a recent date…not so long ago, where Boomer Boyfriend (a retired UK Socialist from the LaboUr party) and I were guests on Jordan and Heather’s 805Uncensored show, podcasted from southern California.
Supporting efforts from fellow “Comrades” has been my hobby since 2020; and I’m happy to give Readers a thorough introduction via a wider network where the topics intersect.
I’ve added Comarde ‘Kampfire K’ who recently launched his own Substack
and we’re working now to get organised with a team of disgruntled citizens wanting policy change, plus long-standing sustainability since our government doesn’t offer such solutions.PAINFUL and CRINGEWORTHY!
The recent Presidental (staged) debate was a debactle. Well, at least this did yield democracy a favourable result as Biden can soon join the ranks of former hard working Presidents enjoying their free time. He’s earned it and though I voted for him, I was never from the camp in thinking he would make a great President.
As an American citizen, I'm faced with a frustrating reality: a political system that offers only two options, both beholden to elite, privately funded sponsors.
This isn't democracy—it's a rigged game where the players are cheats and the system is broken beyond repair. We need a reset. A soft revolution to strongly change the narrative of the current crash course we are on.
Raised in conservative Republican households where conformity was expected, I learned to accept the status quo. But as I grew older, I refused to be boxed in by others' expectations and by now am a confirmed anarchist since my progressive reality (that doesn’t include greenwashing campagins and approval of genocide) doesn’t seem to exist.
I rejected the narrative handed to me in my past and set out to rewrite my own story. Eventually, settling in Europe after finding my own version of the so-called ‘American Dream’ to be completely unattainable on home turf shortly after the turn of this century.
In recent years, as a result of the pandemic, we saw the rise in usage of social media, and other forms of online communication. This largely has only benefited our lives bounding us into the future of technology’s benefits. However, we also can now clearly see how condemning and exploitive the social media reality is, and really, the internet as a whole is totally infected oozing with disinformation and lack of governance.
As an American living in Europe, it feels like watching citizens of my homeland engaged in an online civil war that originally spawned around the 2016 USA election across various social media platforms. It continues to feel like it’s my American duty and obligation to engage in the virtual battle my motherland homies are busy fighting in the name of social democracy. I once wanted to move back to America, but no longer can as lawmakers make it acceptable to kill children and adults in public spaces.
I lost friends and followers with my passionate hyperactive posts, though have no regrets as those posts helped me sharpen up my writing skills and enhance my grammer. Perhaps I offer a blanket “I’m sorry” to anyone I’ve offended and now that’s done, can we please focus on efforts to save humanity?!
From the land of socially democratic The Netherlands, where I enjoy social benefits that do not exist in full, or even semi-full capacity for the citizens in my motherland of America - I feel so much pain for the suffering of my fellow countrymen who are fighting over black vs white while operating in a grey melting pot.
These days mostly able to escape harsh realities with limiting media intake, I still feel obligated to spend a majority of my time in online social advocacy. Happily, I invite fellow comrades with efforts of creating a new reality for the voice of the future. One that doesn’t fit the mold of what’s been fed to us in the past. This is the NEW EARTH ya’ll, and we are ALL responsible for creating it.
The Power Shift
Every time an American President sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold.
It doesn’t matter who it is, or when they are in power, but since the end of WW2, we have seen the USA dominate the western world growing as an example for a life full of dreams achieved. Like why?
The country is trillions in debt, many citizens are oppressed and living in poverty without proper social benefits to support their human existence; and our best assets are wrapped up in military weapons and defense. But defense to what? A reality where our gov has the blood of millions in other countries on their hands?! Oh…okay. No wonder we have to have such a budget in order to protect our country from terrorism which our government has created. Good LAWD, make it make SENSE!
A country whose existence depends constantly on being at war, all the time and with current themes, it seems our governmental body has helped pioneer capitalising and monetizing, in the name of …
WAR ☠️
UGH! Good God Ya’ll.
What is is good for?
Absolutely nothing.
In just a few short span of recent years, infiltrating news of conspiracy theories and scandals have now become the norm in headlines, and we now can no longer trust our media sources. We are living the 1984 reality and seemingly are okay with this?!
HOW #SAD
No, really, how incredibly sad…. for everyone who isn’t uber rich.
We now see the USA republic in an active collapse from an (un)intentional ‘divide & conquer’ framework with disruption to the government running so deep, both sides we are forced to vote for, have lost integrity. And which country will be the one to conquer the “most powerful country in the world label”? Russia? China? Saudi? … Iran!?!
Talkin’ about a Revolution
As an American living in Europe during Trump's administration, I witnessed firsthand how social media platforms became battlegrounds for toxic politics, driving many international users away. The influence of advertising and sponsored campaigns on these platforms cannot be overlooked, as they shape narratives and sway public opinion.
In today's digital landscape, the proliferation of social media platforms has become overwhelming, with each offering a plethora of content and voices vying for attention. Yet amidst this abundance, there is a growing trend towards independent journalism and content creation, fuelled by a growing distrust of traditional legacy media outlets.
Despite the prevalence of misinformation and propaganda, there remains hope for change. Social media users have become increasingly vocal, using their platforms to challenge false narratives and hold powerful individuals and corporations accountable. The solutions to these challenges are within reach, waiting to be implemented by those willing to listen and take action.
As there is no one operating global governance to hold billionaire owners accountable, social media has now become even more influential than what work policymakers, media agencies, or film producers can keep up with. There are many solutions sitting next to the problems mentioned in the comments!
While social media presents significant challenges, it also offers opportunities for positive change. By fostering transparency, accountability, and critical thinking, we can harness the potential of social media to create a more informed and equitable digital landscape.
Happy to welcome you on this contained virtual ride headed to personal autonomy and freedom!
Namaste xx
